I never was very good at titles

True fact.

What is also true? School and wedding planning combine to make a black hole from which you fear your sanity, not to mention your spare time, will never reemerge.

So what's been cracking since I last typed? Well, a good deal. Enough that I cannot remember, nor would I dare regale you if I did. Some of the happy news is that I love love love my contemporary dance class. I was really nervous about it at first but we've all become pretty comfortable with each other which makes it easier to try things that I would otherwise be entirely too mortified to attempt. We've been put into groups this last week to bring the choreography we've learned into a cohesive number combined with our own [lame in my case] attempts at creating choreography. We're performing on Thursday and I am nervous but also excited. We get to bring cameras so someone can record our performances and we can see how we did.

Also, I adore my creative writing class to pieces. I'm always excited about our projects and to read what everyone else has come up with. After the surprising popularity of my children's book idea I've had more confidence as well though showing people my writing is still anxiety inducing to a point. We have to keep a blog for class in order to create a "presence on the internet." Posts are once a week so I've been writing there more often than here lately. Check it out if you like and don't be afraid to give feedback on the bits of writing I share, it's appreciated. http://nearsightednessandcarpaltunnel.blogspot.com/

In contrast, I have a hard time going to my two psychology courses this semester mainly because they focus on the two things I positively loath about science fields. Academic writing and testing within psychology. My intense dislike for these classes is actually making me question my desire to go through with this degree as both these topics will be present in one way or another throughout a psychological career. But decisions like these shouldn't be made hastily so I have to keep myself on a leash and take things slowly. On the bright side, I know that no matter what I decide, Tim's behind me and so is the Lord.

As previously mentioned probably several times, Chelsea and Zac are back at BYU this semester and Tim and I have been taking advantage of this. I must say, it's nice to have at least one set of couple friends before getting married, it gives me a bit of comfort in all the changing going on. Sunday nights have officially become couple dinner and FHE night for us all which means that all their neighbors probably can't sleep for class on Monday for all the noise and hilarity that goes on, esp when we are tired and are trying to consume a whole pan of Super chocolate fudge brownies with fudge icing! Ah college :)

Wedding planning is starting to attack with a vengeance that threatens to eat at my soul some days. Keeping a sense of humor, I'm finding, can be drastically important in times like these :P

This year, it was decided by the powers that be to make this week the week of death. Meaning the week when every single class decides to give a test. Joy. On top of all the other things going on in my life I was not looking forward to finding time to study and then take the three tests I had scheduled. Dreading it in fact. But earlier this afternoon mercy was bestowed upon me through the unlikely channel of the testing center itself. One of my professors emailed to let us know that the testing center had informed him that they were over their capacity load for the number of tests [and therefore, students] they could handle in a week and asked that he post-pone his test until next week. I type to you today that the church is true.

And hey! General Conference is this weekend! I'm personally excited to head to Delta for some quality family and conference time.
